Our undergraduate students frequently join faculty members on in-house research projects and with the National Science Foundation HBCU-UP Program. They also take advantage of established external research partnerships with collaborative institutions and organizations. Students who major in biology have the option of participating in the medical program partnerships we have with the University of South Alabama School of Medicine, the Virginia Tech Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, the Baptist Health Pre-Med Scholars Program and the Medical School Early Assurance Program with the University of Alabama, Birmingham.
